February 20, 2012 by James Field Visit Date:February 13, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Large 1 bedroom apartment, very comfortable. We have been to Chiang Mai a number of times before and stayed near the night markets, and in the old town, so was nice to have a change of location. We found it was still very easy to get into the centre either walking (about 30-40 mins) or the red van taxi s that are only 20baht a person (must better than TukTuks that are aimed at tourists and cost an awful lot more) They provide free minibus to and from the airport, and also a once nightly bus to the Nightmarkets. Only complaint we have is the lovely looking pool was too cold the coldest pool we have been in in Thailand so didnt make for a relaxing swim. Also the local JJ markets appeared to not be operating fully, but there were lots of bars and coffee places nearby that were frequented by students and locals which was nice rather than being too touristy. If you explore the local soi s there are plenty of traditional street eating places. The Tesco locus is 5 mins walk away and has a great nightmarket in its carpark with yummy foodstalls and clothes. The Tescos was also excellent for supplies for our 2 year old, and had an indoor playcentre." |
by Ooi Pei Ling Visit Date:August 6, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The room is very nice and big. The only thing I would like to suggest the hotel is provide more free shuttle service to the city. Because the hotel location far from the city and the hotel only provide 1 trip at 6.30pm to go to the night plaza. And in the hotel area is hard to get the song thiew which only cost you 20 to 30 bath. Hence if you want to go the city center you must use tuk tuk, the cost of is 100 Bath per single trip. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Andreas Haseleu Visit Date:March 14, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Schönes neues Hotel mit gutem Service. Kostenlose Fahrräder, kostenloser Transfer in die Stadt am Abend. Etwas abgelegen, daher ist es zu weit zum laufen in das Zentrum. Gut ausgestatteter Fitness Bereich. Frühstück durchschnittlich, Buffet mit nur 2 Sorten Toast. Obst, Eier auf Bestellung und thaifood. Für uns war es perfekt, denn man ist nicht gleich im Getümmel wenn man einen fuß vor die Tür setzt. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Charles Firster Visit Date:November 1, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The Grand Napat was a terrific choice for a first timer to Chiang Mai. Travelling with my wife and our son, we needed spacious 2 bedroom accommodation and the apartment was well above expectation with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 2 balconies. Location a couple of kilometres from the city was quiet and convenient. Facilities are clean and staff helpful. Nice pool and well equipped gym room. Couple of minutes to town via red taxi or hotel van. Buffet western style breakfast was included with tables near the poolside. Definitely returning to Chiang Mai and The Grand Napat. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Ewerything worked well., January 22, 2009 by Löfman Visit Date:January 15, 2009 "We were overwelmed by the good service at Grand Napat. The staff was extremely friendly and helpfull, expecially to the children. Apartment was spacious and just perfect for our family (kids aged 1 and 3). Rooms were clean and in very good shape. It´s easy to go to the city center by tuk-tuk or songthaews and location is handy also for out of town trips." |
