The hotel is set back from the main road and right on the beach with 2 pools (one suitable for children) An easy 5 minute walk to the modern Market which includes shops and supermarket. Our room was first class, it had all the character of the original building but with a very modern bathroom. It was the best of old and new. The pool area was good, although the pool was basically a childs pool. Breakfast was good with the only shortcoming being a lack of English , but my Thai is non existence so who s in the wrong. It is well placed as you were able to walk into the main area of town and is almost opposite Tesco/Lotus and the multitude of shops in the complex. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Baan Bayan to those who want a sophisticated resort that offered everthing" |

I small observation the bathrooms appear newly renovated but need a better shower right now it is a flexable hose that fires water everywhere, please put in a rain shower you have them outside by the pool. This is my one and only complaint, I enjoyed my stay and will be back." |

Also the breakfast is rudimentary and approves want remaining. That bungalow was cleaned, however, daily very much cleanly and gotten freshly. Receive very well. Some rooms being refurbished while we stayed which is probably required as some paint work needs refreshing.Handy shopping mall a short walk away and not far by hotel shuttle to night market and the busy shopping area, fishing pier and restaurants.A restful place to stay in a tradional Thai style,would loved to have stayed longer." |
